On this week’s episode of Sincerely, Sloane, I chat with Misty Copeland, Principal Dancer with the American Ballet Theatre and absolute role model! I first met Misty when I was a teenager with my first apparel sponsor and have looked up to her ever since.

Misty is a trailblazer and ceiling breaker in every possible sense of the word. I often speak about the power of representation in tennis and in so many of the things I try to do in my life and with my platform. Having this conversation with Misty about her experiences in the parallel universe of ballet was so inspiring and affirming.

We chat about finding solace in our craft through tough times, the grit and tenacity required to make something so difficult look so effortless, and finding joy in new projects and creative outlets.
